Edgemere II Condominium Association Spring 2001 Newsletter

Spring has finally arrived and spring clean up is underway. Please help by picking up around your unit and any items you have outside. Only outside tables, chairs and grills can be left outside during the summer months. Bikes and toys must not be left out.

GRILLS

A reminder about using grills....ONLY gas grills are acceptable. When grilling, please pull the grill out and away from the siding at least 3 feet to avoid melting the siding. Siding that is damaged will have to be replaced at the unit owner expense.

DUMPSTERS AND RECYCLING

Tuesdays the dumpsters are emptied. No parking in front of the dumpsters on those days. When using the dumpsters, boxes are to be broken down. DO NOT leave garbage or large items next to the dumpster. The dumpster company will not take these items. The board is looking into having a large dumpster placed on the property once a year for large items. When disposing of cat litter.... Do not empty the litter box in the dumpster . PLEASE use a garbage bag . Keeping the dumpster doors closed will help keep unwanted animals out. It will also help to keep the smell down on hot, humid days. Recycling day is on Thursdays. ALL recycling bins must be kept inside at all times except on recycling day.

BEACH AND DOCKS

Soon we will all be using the lake. To ensure a safe summer....all children under the age of 12 must have adult supervision. There are no garbage cans at the beach...carry out what you carry in. Swimming is allowed ONLY in the swimming area. Swimming between and off the docks is prohibited.

PETS

All pets must be on a leash when out walking. Please pick up after your pet, even in Edgemere I. We have a dog path located behind and to the right of unit 100. No pets are to be tied up outside or allowed in the swimming area.

NOISE

Now that we will all be having our windows open...be kind to your neighbors. Keep music down and parties under control.

MAILBOXES

Our Mailman has asked us to inform you about the large mailboxes for packages.....Please leave the key in your own mail box and not inside the large box after retrieving your package. Thank you!

LANDSCAPING

Small, well kept gardens are accepted. To ensure that your garden is not weed-wacked... place a border around it.

PARKING

Every unit has a numbered parking spot. The visitor parking spots are first come first serve basis. Be considerate of your neighbors and their guests.
