Letter to Unit Owners

Dear Edgemere II Unit Owner:

The Edgemere II Board of Director has determined that all individual exterior doors, overhead garage doors and sliders are to be painted this summer. The painting of the items described above is a Unit Owner expense. The Association's Board is directing that painting be done this summer for the sake of uniformity. The paint to be used is a Benjamin Moore product and is available anywhere this brand is sold including ACE Hardware in East Hampton (located at 25 East High Street). The color is Tudor Brown. You should ask for Soft Gloss Moor Glo Exterior Latex House Paint. We have been advised the best method of painting is to thoroughly prepare the paint surface by washing the item then sand flaked or peeling paint. Apply the paint product by means of a paintbrush then use a small roller over the entire door. We ask that all painting be done not later than September 1, 2001. Should you not be physically capable of performing the painting task on your own, you may wish to contact one of the following contractors:

At this time the Board would also like to respectfully remind all Unit Owners that air conditioners must have either a grill or a cover in place on the exterior of the building. Should you require a replacement grill, they are available through appliance stores which handle General Electric. The model number for the grill is GE#RA10A20. You may also order the grill by calling GE directly at their customer service center at 1-800-626-2002. This item may also be ordered online by visiting http://www.geappliance.com .
