THE NEWS

Paving Project - The Sequel

Your board has been working overtime to make sure that the paving project is completed to specifications. There are a few items left to be completed/corrected. The Board wants to thank all unit owners for their patience and tolerance during this process.

The "Walk Around"

The board performed a "walk around" on Saturday Sept 13th. This process is to ensure that all unit owners are complying with regulations regarding the upkeep an appearance of their units. Anyone not in compliance will receive a letter from Myers Northeast detailing what needs to be done to repair or replace items. These are mostly widow screens and air conditioner covers and sleeves. There will be a fine charged to unit owners who do not comply. Paint brand and colors will be posted on the message board,

Edgemere II Garden Club

Anyone interested in joining to help plant, weed and maintain the garden beds is welcome. There are lots of projects planned for late Fall and Spring. Call Mindy Maynard at 267-8049. Meetings will be posted on the Message Board.

General Announcements

Fall Beach Clean Up Day will be Sunday November 2nd. Please lend a helping hand.

There are several abandoned boats on the beach. If not claimed by Sunday, November 2nd, they will be removed.

Please remember to contact the board prior to changes outside your unit. Examples include replacing entrance doors, windows, and garage doors. Our mission is to maintain a uniform look within the complex. To accomplish this, owners will need to approach the board for approved products. A list of products will be provided upon request--contact the property management company or a board member.

There is a new message board by the mailboxes. The side facing the road is for messages from the Board of Directors or Myers Northeast (Management Co.). The side facing the hedge is for messages from Unit owners. Edgemere II Condo Regulations are now posted on the message board. For your own copy, please call Myers Northeast @ 800-848-1918.

All items outside of units must be brought inside by November 1. These items include flower pots, bikes and outdoor furniture. The only items exempt from this regulation are gas grills.

Recycling bins are to be kept inside except on the days they are emptied by All Waste.

When the waste company hired to pick up our recycling has not shown up, we have not paid for service. Please continue to notify the property company when this occurs.

We are spending $500-$700 a year on bulky waste removal due to residents leaving their trash outside of the dumpsters. Bulky waste removal is the responsibility of the resident. Items such as rugs, furniture, and doors must be removed directly by the individual resident.

Snow plowing - Please remember that to ensure that the parking lots are kept clear of snow, all vehicles must be removed when plowers make the final sweep of the lots when the storm is over.

Renting or selling your unit?

Board Members are frequently asked about available units in the complex. Take advantage of a free resource to reach your goal.
