Board's role or mission

To increase the property value of Edgemere II for all unit owners by:

  • exercising sound fiscal management through a competitive bid process.
  • creating and implementing a systematic approach to our continuing maintenance needs.
  • ensuring a uniform, high quality appearance through the implementation of rules and proper hiring/supervision of on-site contractors.
Board activity

Items before the Board include:

  • Working out the details of the paving project.
  • Power wash the siding of North facing buildings.
  • For your convenience, grill-covers for air conditioner sleeves may be purchased through the board. Please contact a board member if your a/c sleeve does not have a grill cover (aluminum grate).
Look at it snow!

It is amazing how quickly the parking area gets plowed when neighbors help each other move cars for the plows.

Christmas tree removal

If you would like your Christmas tree disposed of for you, place it against the OUTSIDE of the fenced dumpster enclosure by Saturday, January 11th.

Changes to our complex

Board presented two 2003 budgets for owners to vote on. The first budget remained flat with no increases. The second budget addressed the issue of increasing the reserve fund. After a lengthy discussion the attending owners voted to approve the flat budget considering the special assessment for the spring paving project.

There are additional air conditioners that fit our sleeves - visit our web site for the model numbers.

When the waste company hired to pick up our recycling has not shown up, we have not paid for service. Please continue to notify the property company when this occurs.

Speed bumps have been temporarily removal to ease plowing. Upon completion of next spring's paving, speed "humps" will be installed. These humps are lower and wider to reduce scrapping of automobile undercarriages. Please drive a safe speed (15 mph) while in the complex.

Air conditioner sleeves have been painted to match the siding. If the outer cover for your sleeve was not painted, contact Mindy Maynard, Unit 100, at 267-8049 for paint.

Paving project approved and will proceed during the early spring. The project will be completed in two phases, each phase lasting 5-7 days (weather permitting). Residents will be notified of the start date, where to park, how to handle trash disposal and package delivery. Growing concerns

We are spending $500-$700 a year on bulky waste removal due to residents leaving their trash outside of the dumpsters. Bulky waste removal is the responsibility of the resident. Items such as rugs, furniture, and doors must be removed directly by the individual resident.

Please remember to contact the board prior to changes outside your unit. Examples include replacing entrance doors, windows, and garage doors. Our mission is to maintain a uniform look within the complex. To accomplish this, owners will need to approach the board for approved products. A list of products will be provided upon request--contact the property management company or a board member.
