BEACH & DOCK INFORMATION

A beach pass is necessary to use the common beach area shared with Edgemere I.  Beach passes can be obtained from White & Katzman Management for a $10.00 fee.

Edgemere I & II - Beach Regulations

  1. Only unit owners or tenants and their families are allowed on the beach. The unit owner or tenant must accompany guests.
  2. Beach passes should be carried and displayed if asked by the beach guard.
  3. Swimming shall be in the designated area that is roped off for that purpose. THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY.
  4. No boats of any kind shall be operated in the swimming area.
  5. No fishing from the swim area.
  6. No pets of any kind, even if leashed or held.
  7. Glassware, bottles or dangerous equipment is not allowed on the beach or dock.
  8. Parents must accompany children under the age of 12, and will be responsible for their behavior and safety.
  9. No equipment such as radios, musical equipment, TV, etc. shall be operated at a noise level that disturbs others.
  10. No obnoxious, boisterous, or unsafe activities are allowed on the beach or dock.
  11. Unit owners should notify their one of the Board members of a beach party of more than 10 people. Portions of the beach may be reserved with approval of the Board.
  12. The beach security guard has the authority to enforce all beach regulations.
  13. In light of recent proliferation of geese and ducks, please consider not feeding them in the swim area. It poses health and safety issues.
  14. Please keep your beach clean. Bring home what you brought with you.

If we cooperate and follow these simple regulations, our time spent on the beach should be safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Dock Information

The dock furthest to the left of the beach is the property of Edgemere II and is available for use by Edgemere II residents.  Slip availability is determined on a first come, first served basis.  If more people request docks than there are available, a lottery shall be held.  Common fees must be current for the entire year in order to qualify for a dock space.
